Activities in Scrum

In Scrum, there are several activities that are performed to manage and complete a project:

1. Sprint planning: a meeting where the team plans the work for the next sprint. The team reviews the product backlog and selects the items that they will work on during the upcoming sprint.

2. Daily Scrum: a daily stand-up meeting where team members share progress and plan for the next 24 hours. The Daily Scrum helps the team to stay aligned and identify any obstacles that need to be removed.

3. Sprint execution: the team works on completing the items from the sprint backlog and creating a potentially releasable product increment.

4. Sprint Review: a meeting where the team demonstrates the work completed during the sprint to stakeholders. The team shows the work that was completed and receives feedback from stakeholders.

5. Sprint retrospective: a meeting where the team reflects on the past sprint and identifies areas for improvement. The team discusses what went well, what didn’t go well, and what can be improved in the next sprint.

6. Backlog grooming: ongoing activity of reviewing and updating the product backlog. The Product Owner regularly reviews the product backlog to ensure that it is up-to-date and reflects the current priorities.

7. Managing and monitoring the progress: the Scrum Master monitors the progress of the project and helps the team to adhere to the Scrum framework. The Scrum Master also removes any obstacles that are preventing the team from making progress.

8. Product backlog management: the Product Owner is responsible for managing the product backlog, which is a prioritized list of requirements for the product. The Product Owner regularly reviews and updates the product backlog to ensure that it is aligned with the product vision and strategy.

These activities are not performed in a fixed order and may happen simultaneously. The main goal is to deliver a potentially releasable product increment that meets the Definition of Done and the stakeholders needs during each sprint.
